My passion for travel has seamlessly intertwined with my previous career in performing arts and arts management. Touring extensively as a dancer with Queensland Ballet, and later collaborating with leading international arts festivals as Program Manager at Brisbane Powerhouse, I have built a rich portfolio of unique travel experiences in both professional and personal spheres.

Since leaving the arts industry to help raise our family, I have been very fortunate to continue travelling widely, often with our extended family of seven, mastering the art of planning itineraries for a variety of ages and interests. I bring firsthand expertise in navigating adventure holidays, cultural journeys, corporate and family getaways.

Creating a truly seamless travel experience depends on paying attention to every minor detail. Co-founding Simply Travel has allowed me to transform my diverse travel and life experiences into memorable journeys for clients, crafting each itinerary with creativity and a perfectionist’s attention to detail.

Born in England and with Europe on my doorstep, travelling abroad was something I did from an early age and I absolutely I loved it! Since those first adventures, travelling has taken me to over 50 countries both solo and with my family.  

I hold a Masters in Travel, Tourism and Recreational Management and spent 20 years with Thomas Cook in London rising through the ranks from agent, to Branch Manager and finally as Training Manager for all locations across south-east UK. I later relocated to Australia and continued my passion for travel, starting my first travel business in 2015.

​​The decision to launch Simply Travel alongside Tara is a distillation of all I have learned in my career as both a travel industry professional and a parent.  It is my mission to get to know my clients and understand their travel style and needs. Then go that extra mile for them, by taking care of the little details to ensure they do not have to, and can simply sit back and enjoy the journey.
